M.A.C Mini Haul from Italy

Hello beauties,

Yes I am finally back, my life has become so busy in the last few months that I barely have time to myself, imagine writing on this blog. But recently I started to miss it and I wish to start posting again. Being that I have quite a hectic lifestyle with a full time job, singing rehearsals, and spending time with my loving new bf, little time is spent for blogging. I am still the same girl, obsessed with anything beauty and make-up and I wish to show you my latest buys.

MMH5

In the December I went to Italy for a week with my besties, we stayed in Treviso and visited some of the most beautiful cities, Venice, Mestre, Padova and Verona. When we went to Verona the city of Romeo and Juliet, love was definitely in the air as I encountered a small M.A.C store. Being that I was on a tight budget I bought what I have been craving to have for a long time, MORE LIPSTICKS :D.

MMH2

So I got another Creme Cup because the one I have has been used quite a lot, not only for myself but even my clients. It is a beautiful light pink shade which is perfect for a Wedding look and even when you have smokey eyes.  Have a look at the review about this gorgeous lipstick.

Another beautiful lipstick which caught my eye immediately is All fired up from the Retro Matte range, a beautiful pink toned red shade that stays on forever. The pigmentation is divine and the colour is the die for. It is very similar to the ruby woo, when it comes to longevity and pigmentation. It just varies in colour. Review for Ruby woo.

The third lipstick I got is the beautiful Violetta, from the Amplified Creme range. Violetta is a beautiful bold violet lipstick with a creamy texture. Like all the other creamy lipsticks they glide easily on the lips, doesn’t dry the lips or cause lips to chap. I am very happy I got this gorgeous lipstick.

Last but not least, being that I love bold colours i got myself a Rebel. A lovely plum colour with purple undertones, also from the Amplified Creme range. This is such a daring yet sexy colour which looks good on anyone with pouty big lips. It definitely deserved a Selfie :P.

ALL FIRED UP. VIOLETTA, REBEL, CREMECUP

Apart from these gorgeous lipsticks, I thought I’d buy myself a new shade of blusher. Being that I already have the DollyMix and Breezy, which are on the pink and red tones, I thought of choosing something different. So I got the Sheertone Blush, Breath of Plum, very suitable for winter and for anyone with a light skintone. It applies very naturally to the skin, and it has a very light and soft formula. I do highly recommend it,and any of their blushers as they are long lasting, I bought my first blusher about 2 or 3 years ago and it’s still pretty full. Good value for money, that’s for sure.

Well I hope you liked my Mini M.A.C haul, I shall start posting new short reviews about product I got recently and hopefully some new Make-up looks.

Much love

Make Up store – Blush – Glam Rose

Hello guys,

Before I start my review, DO NOT Forget to enter for my International Giveaway, kindly follow these simple steps on my post here.

Now let’s move on to another great product by this Swedish brand Make up store, which is this blusher called Glam Rose. I simply love it’s colour, it’s like a peach-pink colour with a tint or purple. It comes in the same packaging and size and most of their michroshadows, and retails for about €14.

B2

Pros:

  • It is very pigmented and smooth
  • The packaging is very sleek in black with a transparent M logo.
  • The staying power for this blusher in Summer is about for 5hrs, and it winter it can stay on even up-to 8 hours which is pretty good considering the humidity we have in Malta.
  • Easy to apply and blend and it can also be buildable
  • Their products last forever I’ve used mine  almost every day for 3 months now and it hardly has a dent in it. Great value
  • I believe this colour would look great on all skin tones.
  • They also have quite a range to choose from,  from bright reds, peachy, pale pink, shimmery pinks to dark burgundy. I think everyone will find a couple of personal favorites from their collection.

B1 B3

Cons:

  • The only minor con I have about this product,  is actually the packaging of the blushers. I would prefer if it has a clear lid like some of their other products (the michroshadows for ex.) Being that I have a lot of products, I like to see the colour of the blusher, it would make my life so much easier.

B4

Will I ever buy this product again? Definitely, If I will ever run out of this colour I will repurchase it again for sure, but I will probably add more to my collection and buy some of their other beautiful colours.

Do I recommend it? I recommend it to anyone, they are really great and worth every penny

NARS – Blusher – Deep Throat

Hey guys,

I guess it’s time to review my second product I got from Nars. If you haven’t seen my other review for the Nars bronzing powder Laguna go here.

N5

I have only tried these two products from NARS and yes I fell in love with them. NARS products are very expensive for me but they are completely worth the price, you are really buying a high quality product. Deep Throat is a beautiful middle tone between peach and pink, it has this slight shimmer which is like a more like a highlighter it gives this lovely natural glow to the cheeks. Being that at the moment I have this nice tan I have to apply a little more product so that the product is actually visible but I think in winter it would look amazing.

N4

The beauty of it that it’s so natural and you can wear it for every occasion if it’s for daytime or night time. It also doesn’t conflict with any other makeup, or wardrobe, it is very not distracting. NARS also have a popular blusher called Orgasm, which is this quite similar but more on a pink tone than Deep throat and much more shimmery, because of the shimmer Deep throat is somewhat preferred more by customers.

N3

The blush is very much buildable, but I don’t know if anyone darker than medium complexion would be able to enjoy this blush, because it is pretty sheer on the skin. I am quite light in general, so I actually prefer the sheerness because I don’t have to apply to carefully, or spend much time blending out the color.

N2 N1

I am slowly falling in love with this brand, and am so happy that I had the opportunity to have these babies :). Well that is all for now guys, keep posted for more as one of my family members might actually be on this blog 😀

Indian Inspired – Make-up Look

Hey guys,

First of all I want to wish all the Maltese a happy feast while for the rest of the world I do hope you are enjoying your day to the full :). Recently I have been very influenced by the Indian culture. I am in love with the use of colours when it comes to fashion, make up and even religion. Colour plays an important aspect to their values and everyday life. Something I noticed is, that they go full out with make-up and colour on bridal make-up. In western societies we usually go for more natural colours.

1

It would be interesting, I really get to do make up in India, because I wouldn’t have any restraints. Both in Malta and other western countries I have had clients that are sometimes scared to apply different colours because they think it will look bad, but it doesn’t. It all comes to application and blending. However let’s get to my look, I have noticed the use of purple, blue, and yellow in Indian Make-up so I thought these should be my main colours.

4

For this look I used:

  1. The Two Faced, shadow insurance primer
  2. Make up store – white shimmer colour
  3. E.l.f palette for the yellow, blue, purple colour
  4. Maybellline lasting drama gel eyeliner
  5. L’Oreal extra volume colagen Mascara
  6. For the lips I used OMG  lipstick by MUA
  7. Cheek, elf baked bronzer, Mac sheerton blusher breezy

2 3Well guys I do hope you like this look. I do hope I made justice to the beautiful Indian make-up. If you like this look, I would appreciate a like or comment down below, thank you for following

Blue Moon – Make-up look

Hey guys,

I am always trying my best to come up with great make up look for you guys. If you want me to do a particular look and maybe give you step by step instructions to how you should do it, just comment down below :). I am always looking for something new to try, I love to challenge myself in make-up.

Blue1

Blue moon is basically a blue based make-up look with a twist. I love mixing colours in order to create something out of the ordinary but that it still looks beautiful on the eyes. I have to admit it is getting harder to name my looks, but thanks to my awesome friends they help me come up with these creative names :).

A blue moon is usually used to describe a second full moon in a single solar calendar month, which happens every two to three years (seven times in the Metonic cycle of 19 years)

Blue4

  1. I always start with a white of beige base colour but this time I used the e.l.f eye transformers the yellow tone colour.
  2. On the inner corner of my eye I applied a purple/blueish colour, before applying the mustard colour.
  3. Further on I blended the purple with a turquoise colour and then I used a dark brown colour on the crease with some navy blue.
  4. I also used a tint of black on the crease and of course the mustard yellow colour on the inner corner of the eyes.
  5. Finally I applied my favorite winged liner and some mascara. For the lips I used the Mua lip boom (very similar to viva glam nicky) and for the cheeks elf baked bronzer and mac sheertone blusher.

Well I hope you like this look guys, if you do I would appreciate a like or comment down below. Thank you for following and keep posted for more
