Pupa Diamond Eyeliner – Pupa Princess Limited Collection

I hope I am not too late to review this gorgeous eye-liner by Pupa Milano. This is one of the two eye-liners from the Pupa Princess Limited collection which should still be available nowadays, but not for too long.  The 001 is Diamond Mauve, a red undertone glittery eye-liner, however I have the 002 Diamond Green which of course has a light green undertone. The liner itself has this gel consistency, and it comes with a brush applicator that glides quite nicely on the lid. This is one of the best glitter liner I’ve tried so far, however if applied by itself, the result can be a bit scattered, and it doesn’t give that full straight line which I would have preferred (it can be achieved if you reapply it several times). It is quite common for a glitter liner to be a bit tricky to apply, which is why in general I am not a biggest fan.

Recently though I have been loving these recent double eye-liner looks, which consists of having a strong black liner then another glitter liner on top of it. Being that the result is a bit scattered this look isn’t possible with this liner. Yet I do like to apply it on top of a regular liner. It modified a bit the final colour but it looks really nice and it is more wearable.  What also impressed me about this liner is that lasting power, which is very good, it lasted me for over 5 hours. As to price, this liner retails for €13.50 in Malta, which is not pricey but neither cheap. Being that it’s long lasting and that it will probably last you for a long time, I think it is a reasonable price.

  1. Beautiful coloured glitter, goes on with any coloured eye-shadow
  2. Cute and elegant packaging, good for travelling
  3. I love it’s pencil brush applicator
  4. Very Long lasting

  1. The only thing I would like, if the result would be more linear than scattered. I would create some interesting make-up looks if it wasn’t, but it’s still nice to have.

Will I ever buy this product again? Not sure I am not much of a glittery person, but it is pretty nice to have in my make-up collection.

Do I recommend it? Definitely, especially if you like to spice up you make-up looks. It is pretty long lasting and great to wear for a night out.

Have you every tried any type of glitter eyeliners? would love to know youre opinion. Also show some love by liking my facebook page and following my blog, thank you

Seasonal Nails – Have you been Good or Bad ?

Hello guys :D,

It about 4 days until Christmas, have you been Good or Bad? :D. I have created these two looks for this season one of which is on the lighter natural colours, while the other one is more on the vibrant side. These couple of days I wanted to give you ideas of how to look your best, which includes make-up, nails and even hair. So keep posted and don’t forget my Giveaway.

I simply loved wearing both looks but I have to say I am in love with the red (bad) nail look. Both are very easy to do, so check out my photos and instructions, for you to do them yourself.

Will you be Good this Season?

  1. The first nail polish I used is one of this 3 set nail Polished from Primark. I personally don’t like this polish because it stars cracking after a couple of days but the colour is lovely. So just find a baby pink nail polish and apply it on all of your nails.
  2. Then I used the lovely Long Lasting by Pupa, which I simply adore. It has silver and gold hues, which go perfectly with this (Good) look. Apply it all over your nails or else on the tip only but being that I used a very light colour underneath, it wouldn’t be too much.
  3. Finally apply a top coat to finish of the look, for which I used the NYX top coat.

Will you be bad?

  1. First I applied this beautiful red colour by Maybelline, called Forever strong. What I love about this nail polish is that is stay on like forever but it takes a while to dry.
  2. Then I applied this gorgeous Make Up Store glitter polish called Teresa, on the tips of my nails. This glitter polish is really beautiful it has a mixture of colours and not just silver and gold .
  3. Last but not least I used the top coat by NYX to finish of the look.

So what do you choose to be Good or Bad ? 😀 Let me know by commenting down below

NYX – Slim Eye Pencils – in Black and Bronze Glitter

Hello beauties,

Today I thought if reviewing some other products I was given from NYX , one of which are these Slim eye pencils in Black and Bronze Glitter. I have to admit I am not much of a glittery person when it comes to eye pencils, I always seem to go for the matte ones, however it’s nice to have something different for a change. I have tried something similar back in the day, and they used to be quite rough on the eyes because of the glitters, but these liners are truly an exception, they applied very smoothly and gave impressive results.  I might actually try something fun with these too someday.

  • They have a wide selection of eye pencils and not just glitter ones like I have
  • They are super affordable they retail for about 3 to 4 euros if i’m not mistaken
  • The liners are very smooth and it applies well, without the need of having to apply several layers especially the black one.
  • Once applied it stays put, I never had any problems with fading however I would suggest using a concealer underneath especially for those that have oily lids.

  • The Bronze shimmer is slight less pigmented but it applies smoothly as well, it takes a couple of layers to achieve an opaque line.
  • It says you can even apply it on your brow, I highly suggest for you not to do so because of the glitter.  Nobody wants glittery eye-brows unless it’s for a fashion shoot or an artistic  make-up look.

Will I ever the this product again? Being that they since they are super cheap, I’m not expecting them to be the best pencils out there. I probably won’t purchase any more of the glitter pencils, but I would buy their regular Slim Pencils, which are great buys!

Do I recommend this product? If you like having shimmery liners than I would definitely recommend these particular liners, as they are cheap and good quality but if your not into the shimmery one buy the regular slim pencils, they’re great 🙂

Pupa Milano – Glossy Lips LipGloss 402

Hey guys,

Last Month I was given two products from Pupa Milano, the gorgeous pastel nail polish with you can view my review here, and this glossy lips lip-gloss.

I have to admit that my glossy days are over (I am getting old :P), I don’t wear a lot of lip-glosses any more, but I do like to mix lip-glosses with other lipsticks. This name of this lip-gloss doesn’t lie, it is truly glossy and makes your lips pop and it even made my lips look bigger, which is  quite nice :).

The colour is bright and the texture is shiny and even though it says it’s not sticky, it is a little bit. However the stickiness it’s not annoying like some of the other lip-glosses I have tried, I find it to be quite moisturizing actually. My lips felt really hydrated and soft after removal and that is something which is rarely incorporated with a gloss.

What I seriously love is the applicator, it is very soft but also flexible very unlike the usual hard wands. The packaging is also quite nice with a transparent tube and elegant metallic details. The colour which is number 402 is this nice light pink/peach colour which can be used either for everyday on it own or if you want to dress it up with a lipstick on night out with the girls. Also it is quite long lasting I wore it for work last Saturday and it was still on me after 4hrs. Some of the product faded away after a few hours but overall it stayed put.

The price of this lip-gloss is of €11, which can be seen as a bit pricey for a lip-gloss but I think it’s actually worth the price, being that you have a lot of product  so it will last for a long time, and that is hydrates your lips at the same time. I do suggest they start naming their products rather them giving them just a number, it would make a lot more sense.

Check out some of the other colours they have available:

I hope you like this review, have you tried this lip glosses out?

MUA £1 Lipsticks – Review

Hey guys,

I hope you are all having a great week so far. Recently I was going trough my lipstick collection and realized that I haven’t reviewed and of the Make-up Academy Lipstick I bought last time. The thing that sold me immediately about these lipsticks is the price. I mean £1 for a lipstick is just ridiculous so of course I bought some from their range. I honestly didn’t expect for these lipsticks to be of good quality but to my surprise they actually are.

I am gonna be honest, not all of them were to my liking but I truly loved most of them. Some of the colours are really gorgeous and you are getting the quality similar to that of a drugstore brand. The consistency is pretty creamy and the finish is glossy. Some of the shades have got a rather chunky glitter in them, some of the shades are just pure pigment. I find that pigmentation varies from shade to shade, usually lighter shades are very sheer, but buildable and darker shades stain my lips in one sweep!

Shade12 Shade5 Shade3

The lasting power is not the greatest, but for the price, you just keep reapplying. They don’t fade in chunks or bits, they don’t dry my lips out too much, as you’d expect for a pound, and I actually find them rather moisturizing and that does not happen too often. I do recommend that you use lip balm or a lip salve after you a day of wearing these, as they sometimes tend to have a strange ‘post-wear’ effect on my lips, when the edges of my lips go a tad flakey, but as long as I slap on some effective lip balm, it’s all good. The scent of these lipsticks is like a strong vanilla, which might not be everyone’s cup of tea, but I love it.

Overall, I have to say, I’m in love with these. I understand that for some of you they might be more or less drying, you might not be the biggest fan of the lasting power, but they are worth giving a shot, as you just might be as lucky as I am and get on with them like I do. I definitely recommend these lipsticks and might actually buy some more next time.

Have you ever tried these lipstick? What do you think?

New Year Eve – Nails – E.l.f glam bam nail polish set

Hi guys again :),
So I thought today I should do another post to give you an idea what nail polish color to use on New Year Eve. For Christmas as you may have seen in my previous post I got a bunch of e.l.f product including the E.L.F nail polish set called glam bam. I has 3 different types of colors , the Golden goddess which is a transparent shade with gold glitters, the blush which is a gold like champagne color and the cranberry a beautiful dark red color.

The colors are fabulous of this collection and you don’t need to do a double coating. I love how you can create various styles with these 3 colors. However they do take long to dry so you have to wait for a while until they are fully dry and each polish has only 6ml so they are relatively small but definitely worth the money as they are relatively cheap.

Being New Years Eve I chose to use the blush and the Golden goddess on top. Blush has a very champagne color and on such a night, there has to be champagne. 🙂

They would definitely look better on longer nails but at the moment I am trying to take care of my natural nails and give them strength to become thicker.

That’s all for today, always keep posted for more, and Have a Happy New Year to you and your families, all the best
