NYX – The Curve Eyeliner

Hey guys,

On my last visit to the NYX store I bought this new Curve eyeliner which I have been using for the last month. The eyeliner comes into this amazingly designed tool with a sponge pen applicator. If you have read my previous reviews on eyeliners, with this type of applicators, you would know how much I actually dislike them. However this product changed my mind completely.

N1

First of all let’s talk about the packaging of this eyeliner, what is there to say but “well done”. Finally design and make-up are coming together to create a comfortable way for us to apply make-up not only on ourselves but even on our clients. I love how the eyeliner is designed for the index finger to fit in perfectly, so that it makes the application way easier. The eyeliner can be a bit difficult for some to apply, so this definitely will help. “Design” does definitely “meet it’s function”.

N2

Now let’s talk about the eyeliner itself, finally an eyeliner that comes out of a sponge applicator that works properly. Usually eyeliners with this type of applicator do not transfer well, smudge and you cannot apply a thin liner because the product doesn’t come out well. However to my surprise this is the opposite, it transfers well and it is a very nice dark black. You can apply a thin layer if you don’t want a heavy liner and it doesn’t smudge. Did I mention that this eyeliner is also waterproof? yes it is and a very good one. It is great to take with you on holiday as it takes only a few minutes to apply.

This lovely liner retails for about ‚ā¨14 which can be seen a bit pricey for an eyeliner but believe me it’s worth it. I am really loving the eyeliner and I will purchase this eyeliner again once it finishes. I really have nothing bad to say about this eyeliner, I am truly loving it :). For all the Maltesers you can find this gorgeous eyeliner at the NYX store in Sliema, do check it out.

Have you tried this gorgeous liner ? would love to read your comment down below. Thank you for following, keep posted for more

MAC Retro Matte – Ruby Woo Lipstick

Nothing can explain my love for this particular lipstick. No review can give justice to such a lipstick. Yes I am falling in love with a lipstick, I might sound crazy but you have to give it a shot to test how good it is.

1

Well I bought the Ruby woo because recently I have heard a lot about it, being that it is very similar to the Lipstick Rihanna launched with MAC, called Riri Woo. I couldn’t find a good price for Riri woo but I did find a good price for Ruby woo, so I got it. I tested it out about a month ago, as I went for some drinks with my girls. I drank, I eat, and I drank some more an this lipstick stayed put all night. I was so impressed, I never had a lipstick which I didn’t have to reapply in a few hours. It stayed put for over 5 hrs If I recall so that is definitely a 5 star when it comes to longevity. It also doesn’t stain the teeth as it happens with most red lipsticks, and I even noticed it doesn’t stain glasses, when I drink.

2

The colour is a gorgeous red matte lipstick, it doesn’t have an orange tint like most red lipsticks, it is just perfectly matte red. It reminds me of how it was back in the 50’s, I felt like I was channeling my inner Marilyn Monroe. ūüôā Of course the pigmentation is just divine but unfortunately it can be a little bit drying on the lips, so for winter you definitely need to wear a lip balm underneath.

Apart from the colour, I love M.A.C lipstick packaging, being in one of my favorite colour, Black. I also can’t get enough of the lovely smell all M.A.C lipsticks have.¬†If you love red lipsticks, this is definitely a lipstick you have to have.

Well that all for now, I think I shared enough love for this lipstick :P. What do you think about this gorgeous lipstick ? Have you ever tried it?

M.A.C Sheertone Shimmer Blush – Breezy

Hey guys,

My Mac reviews are soon coming to an end as I only have the last 2 to review. I will¬†defiantly¬†try to buy some other products from MAC so I can really try their full range of make up. So now I will review the¬†fabulous¬†Sheer tone¬†Shimmer Blush in Breezy. I usually do the pros and cons of every product but there aren’t any cons for me to say about this product.

DSC00803¬†I wanted a nice blusher which is in between pink and red, and the breezy colour was the right choice. It is a perfect color to wear in winter however can also look nice in summer if you use it as a contouring blusher. It is really soft,¬†blend-able¬†and pigmented. The blusher isn’t that shimmery and it has more like a glow to it. ¬†The staying power is very good of this blusher and it looks just lovely when¬†swatched. What I like is that is when I apply it with my brush not a lot of product comes of like some other cheap blushers I have, but enough to apply. ¬†Also the packaging is very nice simple and sleek with a¬†transparent¬†lid, so you can see the¬†color of the blush.

DSC00809I think I covered all the important facts of this product. I love this blusher and I will definitely purchase again and maybe some other colors of the mac collection. I do recommend this blusher to anyone as if looks good on fair skin and even on dark skin, as I have seen from other reviews.

That is all for now, keep posted for more and thank you for following
