Pupa Milano – Autumn Collection 2014 – I’M – 002 Berry Voilet

My apologies to Pupa Milano for the late review however its not easy to find time to blog, when you have a full time job and other crazy things to do.  Last Autumn, I received this gorgeous by Pupa and I was happy like a bird cause it was a tint of colour I have been searching for a while. It is very similar to the MAC Rebel lipstick, but being that at the moment  M.A.C is in-existing in Malta ( not for long 😀 ) I tried to find something similar in other brands.
The colour is a beautiful plum colour with a mix of purple.  Even though I am very late only reviewing this lipstick, they still have I’M lipstick which very similar in texture and quality. You might not find the same colour but I find the Burgandy 308 to be very similar. So check that out.
What I like about the lipstick is that it’s creamy and very soft on the lips, but also I find it makes my lips fuller, a big thumbs up . The colour is highly pigmented and it stays on for those 4 to 5 hrs depends what you’re doing. Not to mention that it’s paraben free.
One of my favorite things is the curved vintage style packaging, being that it’s a limited collection is comes in a gold tone while the other I’M lipsticks are in a silver colour. Who came up with this design deserves a thumbs up, as it gives the lipstick such a luxury feel. This gorgeous Lipstick costs 12.45 euros in Malta, definitely affordable and worth every penny.
  • beautiful very pigmented colour
  • long lasting
  • creamy and light on the lips
  • beautiful vintage packaging
  • affordable

  • That it’s a limited edition shade, they should make it permanent 🙁

I hope you liked this review, do check out the Lipsticks from Pupa Milano, they have such a beautiful range.

Seasonal Nails – Have you been Good or Bad ?

Hello guys :D,

It about 4 days until Christmas, have you been Good or Bad? :D. I have created these two looks for this season one of which is on the lighter natural colours, while the other one is more on the vibrant side. These couple of days I wanted to give you ideas of how to look your best, which includes make-up, nails and even hair. So keep posted and don’t forget my Giveaway.

I simply loved wearing both looks but I have to say I am in love with the red (bad) nail look. Both are very easy to do, so check out my photos and instructions, for you to do them yourself.

Will you be Good this Season?

  1. The first nail polish I used is one of this 3 set nail Polished from Primark. I personally don’t like this polish because it stars cracking after a couple of days but the colour is lovely. So just find a baby pink nail polish and apply it on all of your nails.
  2. Then I used the lovely Long Lasting by Pupa, which I simply adore. It has silver and gold hues, which go perfectly with this (Good) look. Apply it all over your nails or else on the tip only but being that I used a very light colour underneath, it wouldn’t be too much.
  3. Finally apply a top coat to finish of the look, for which I used the NYX top coat.

Will you be bad?

  1. First I applied this beautiful red colour by Maybelline, called Forever strong. What I love about this nail polish is that is stay on like forever but it takes a while to dry.
  2. Then I applied this gorgeous Make Up Store glitter polish called Teresa, on the tips of my nails. This glitter polish is really beautiful it has a mixture of colours and not just silver and gold .
  3. Last but not least I used the top coat by NYX to finish of the look.

So what do you choose to be Good or Bad ? 😀 Let me know by commenting down below

Pupa Milano -50’s Dream Lasting Colour

Hey guys,

So recently I have been given the 50’s Dream lasting color nail polish in Rose White(110) by Stephanie from Pupa Milano. I tried this nail polish last Saturday and I fell in love with the color and it’s lasting performance. White nail polishes are very in vogue right now and are seen on most celebrities nowadays.

The 50’s dream nail polish is more like a light nude colour which I like a lot and I was impressed that it lasted for about 4 days without chipping. The only thing which I found irritating is the small brush and that it took a while for them to dry. But other than that it is a nice colour, it stays long  so it worth the wait and it also doesn’t need a double coating.

This color looks lovely now in Spring and especially in Summer being that pastel colours are very much in fashion nowadays. I do recommend it to anyone as it only costs 3.75euros.

Spring Collection 2013

Well I hope you liked this review, keep posted for more

P.S Being that I got this product for free, doesn’t reflect my review about this product. I always give my own opinion in my reviews and no one else’s.

MAC Prep + Prime Skin – Review

Hey guys 🙂

So it is about time that I start Reviewing my lovely M.A.C products. Since the Primer is the first thing we apply in our make up routine and I thought I should start with the Prep + Prime skin base.  Like most other products I like to mention the Pro’s and cons of the product, this way it will help you decide if you  would every want to purchase it or not.

  1. I love the packaging, it is very sleek and I really like the pump. The packaging itself reflects the product by adding glitter to the usual black packaging because the liquid itself has a bit of glittery shine.
  2. The primer itself is like a white moisturizer – in fact it reminds me of the base primer I have of Missha. It moisturizes the face which helps with the application of the foundation.
  3. I love how it also evens out the face color and gives me a radiant face.
  4. It really made my foundation stay intact for a whole day which is pretty impressive.

  1. You cannot wear it on its own because of the shimmer it has.
  2. It is a bit expensive. I bought it for £19.50 which is about €22.50

Overall I think it is a good product and I would buy it again for the only reason that is made my foundation stay a lot longer than any other primer ever did. I have to say it really reminded me of the Missha base cream but the difference is that the Missha doesn’t hold the foundation for too long. I read a lot of reviews which had various opinions about the primer, some loved it and some hated it but I guess it depends on the skin type you have and what you expect from it.

I hope I didn’t leave anything out, and that I was of any help. This is my honest and personal opinion of the product. Keep posted for more 🙂

E.L.F Lock and Seal

Hey guys,

So today I want to talk about the e.l.f product called Lock and Seal. I wanted to fully test this product and I have photos to prove it.

This is e.l.f’s product description:

“Increase the intensity of your makeup colors and lock it on instantly. Coat your eyeliner, shadow, lipsticks, blush, brow color and more for a sealed smudge-proof wear. The quick dry and easy to use formula keeps you makeup in place for hours. Say goodbye to makeup smudges and hello to makeup that stays put!”

I have to say I love this product. I personally only used it for my eye-shadow and the results were promising. My eye shadow stayed put for long hours and it still looked great. This is definitely a product that I will use a lot, especially for a wedding or a long function or a long night out. The product comes with a small plastic cup to use for mixing and a mini elf brush. You only need a drop or two, mix it up and then apply your eye-shadow or lipstick with the brush. Try not to use a lot because it might ruin your eye-shadow because after all you don’t need a lot.

My only complaint is the mixing cup. I would have preferred I wish that it screwed on top of the bottle so it wouldn’t be easy to lose. Last week I tested this product and applied my eye-shadow with it for work. These are the results:

Fresh in the morning

4hrs later during my break

Afater 10hrs

Afater 10hrs

As you can see the eye-shadow is still intact after 10hrs. The eye-shadow might not look exactly like it did in the first place but most of it is still intact. Usually my eye-shadow starts to diminish after 4hrs but with lock and seal, it stays put. I do recommend this product to anyone because it works wonders and it is very cheap to buy for £3.75.

Well that’s all for now. I will try to do a make up look this week hopefully but I have a lot of products that I still need to review, so we’ll see how it goes. I hope you liked this post, if you have any questions please comment down below.
