Hello guys, The Christmas Holidays are soon with us, and I am sure most of you have already started their Christmas shopping. Being that I don’t think I will manage to review these awesome products before the holidays, I still want to show you some products to be on the lookout for. These are some products which I got from various cosmetic brands, that truly Scream Christmas holidays for me. Mostly a lot of glitter, red, gold and silver colors.

Mascara:

  • Scandaleyes retro glam Mascara by Rimmel – I am recently loving this mascara, it’s cheap and it gives some good volume ( retails about 7.50 euros)
  • Vamp Mascara by Pupa both in black and Rouge Noir –  Pupa really make the best mascaras ever, I love their Diva lashes but this one is great too. If you have blond lashes try their latest colored mascara in Rouge Noir colour from the Pupa princess collection, it’s just gorgeous. (Retails for 13.99 euros)

Eyliner:

  • Diamond Eyliner by Pupa – From the usual black eyeliner why not also try these cool glitter eyeliner. I think it’s perfect for the festive season you can create some interesting looks with this liner. This is also a limited edition product from Pupa which you can find right now in most outlets (Retail for 10.90 euros)

Lips:

  • NYX lip pencil in Plush red – I am simply loving this lip pencil and it goes perfectly with most of my red lipsticks and it so cheap.
  • Make up store – glossy lips in Cleo – I usually go for matte red lipsticks but when I was given this gorgeous red lipgloss I knew I had to wear it this Christmas.

2

Nails:

  • Pupa Lasting Colour in 830 – There is so much you can do for the festive season and I believe a little glitter is perfect for this season. It has these silver/gold hues which would look great on their own or on top of some red polish. Also from the latest Pupa Princess collection, so go and get your hands on it before it goes. (Retails for 5.60euros)
  • Make up store Nail polish in Teresa – This is another beautiful glitter nail polish with various coloured hues from the usual gold and silver and some blue and purple hues. Not sure if you will find this at the Make-up store in Malta right now, because it has been recently launched in Sweden, but if they do just grab a hold of it.
  • Rimmel – Space Dust in Luna Love – This is a beautiful and cheap nail polish for this christmas. It’s like a glittery metallic magenta colour, which I absolutely love and look great for the holidays. (retail for about 4euros)

Revlon- Grow Luscious Plumping Mascara

Hey guys,

Before I start with my next review, you will notice a slight change in the way I will review products further on. I will be adding rating stars at the end of the review, and ask two main questions, if I will ever buy the product again? and if I do recommend it for you guys? This will give you an overall idea of what I think about the products. 🙂

Today I will review the mascara which I have been using for about a month now. I bought the Grow luscious plumping by Revlon at a drug store and it retails for about €11 if i’m not mistaken, which is a good price for a drugstore brand. To be honest I am not really a big fan of this mascara however it’s not the worst either, it does give volume but it doesn’t lengthen my lashes. I do feel it makes lashes slightly heavy due to its dry formula, and because of it, the natural curl of the lashes is somewhat lost. So instead of the lashes to go upwards like they should they seem to remain at the same place.

I am using this mascara for everyday make-up, because it is quite inexpensive and it’s not so bad, but for the weekend I do prefer using other mascaras. I do like the brush, as it starts quite thick which I like but it get thinner at the end. The idea behind it, is probably created to cover those small lashes at the inner corner of our eyes, which we rarely are able to apply mascara on.

Will I ever buy this mascara again? Probably not because I was expecting more volume and length, and I didn’t get it.

Do I recommend it? Maybe, it is inexpensive after all and not so bad, it just didn’t fulfill my expectations.

Vamp – Make-Up look

Hey guys,

So I did this Make-up look this yesterday and I loved this look so much that I thought of showing it to you guys, before some of the other looks I have prepared already. Being that fall is here and even Halloween is soon to be, I thought of doing a sexy Vampire inspired look. I have been a fan of vampires since I was a teen and at that time there wasn’t such a hype about them. People used to be scared of vampires or find them ugly but now since Twilight came out, everything changed. The actual vampires are known to be very pale because they are dead and their eye lid is quite dark with a red tint. Also watch out for a more natural look for fall below.

Vamp1

So here is my version with my step by step instructions and list of products that I used:

Vamp2

  1. First thing I applied a the face primer by MAC on the lids and then I started the eye-shadow by applying a matte red colour all over the lid. The red colour on the lid, gives the impression that you are sick or even dead in this case and it makes the face look pale. Elf Palette
  2. Then I used a dark purple colour and blended it with the red colour. Elf palette
  3. For the crease I used a black and a dark brown from the Fraulen 38 palette.
  4. Finally I applied the eyeliner using the NYX curve liner (which I will review soon) and Revlon Mascara.
  5. For the cheeks I only used a contouring bronzer by E.l.f being that vampires are pale I didn’t apply any blusher.
  6. As for the lips I used this lovely dark purple colour lipstick which I bought at a flee market, so it doesn’t come from any particular brand.

Vamp3

I also did a more natural look for you guys, basically all I did was remove the dark lipstick and applied a baby pink colour lipstick instead, from MUA. I also added a bit of peach blusher on the cheeks, and there you have a nice look for fall:

Vamp4

I hope you like my version of female version of Vampire make-up.If you wish to wear this look for a night out leave it as it is but if you are interested in wearing this look for Halloween, do add some blood drops next to you mouth and of course some fangs. Also If I find a male model, I will actually do the male version make-up of a vampire.

That is all for now, keep posted for more and thank you for following and feel free to like my Facebook page. Also have any make-up suggestion or you want me to do a particular look for you with step by step pictures, do let me know in the comment below.

Eclipse – Make-up look

Hey guys,

I hope you are having a nice weekend so far. So as promised, here is another make-up look for you guys. This time I decided to do a different smokey eye with a mixture of blue and black. I decided to name this look the Eclipse because it reminded me of the colours you see during the eclipse. During an eclipse all you see is total darkness but there is also a tint of blue, white and brown.

Eclipse2

So here are my step by step instruction and also the list of products I used:

Eclipse1

  • The first thing I applied was my 2 faced primer, which I will review further on and then my make up store shimmer white colour under the brows
  •  I started off my eye-shadow look with a vibrant blue color from the e.l.f 100 palette on the middle of my lid and then blended it out with a darker blue color on the crease and on my waterline.
  • I also applied a tint of black colour onto the crease and finished of the look with a light brown colour on top of the crease. Very important to blended all the colours together.
  • Finally I used my maybelliner gel eyeliner and did a double eyeliner and  then I used the Revlon grow luscious plumpin Mascara.
  • For the cheeks I used the Elf contouring blusher called Turks and Caicos and Marbert peach colour.
  • As for the lips I used the Catrice Color stay – light my fire lipgloss, a very natural peachy colour.

Eclipse3

Well I do hope you enjoyed this look, if you like it please comment down below of like this post. I finally updated a little bit my blog so it is easier for you to follow my blog and even like my facebook page. Thank you so much for following
