Christmas 2014 – Make-Up Look

Hello dear readers,

A while ago before Christmas I did this make- up look for you guys, but due to some technical issue, I couldn’t post it, neither on my blog nor on Facebook. Thankfully the issue is solved now, but unfortunately it made me post this look a bit later.

Before I start describing the look, I do hope you had a lovely Christmas with your loved ones and fabulous start to the New Year. I spent Xmas eve with my best friends, and Xmas day with my crazy family. While NYE was spent with friends once again but in another beautiful country, that of Italy. It was truly a lovely start to the New Year, even-though I wished there were a couple of people with me in Italy, which I truly love and care about, yet I carried them in my heart.

I want to take this moment, to thank all of you which have been following my blog and my work, and have believed in my talent, as a make-up artist and blogger. Always keep in mind, I am still learning and improving and would appreciate your feedback in everything I do.

Instructions:

  • The look is quite simple because I haven’t used a variation of colours per se. The eyes are a mixture of light to dark brown colours while for the lips I chosea nice blood-red colour with a tint of purple. I felt that in 2014 we have truly evolved when it comes to wearing bright and bold lipsticks, from Lorde to Beyonce, this was the year where we pushed the extremes with make-up.
  • The blush is a soft red colour mixed with a bit of bronzer to highlight cheek bones.

Even-though Christmas has passed this look is pretty much wearable this winter, so feel free to have a try at this look and please tag me on instagram or facebook if you did so :).

Lost of love

Winter Blues – Make-up Look

Hello guys,

The New Year is soon with us and I wanted to leave you with a new make-up look. Before I talk about this look, remember that Today is the last day to participate in my Giveaway, Tomorrow I will pick a lucky Winner.  This look is solely base on blue colours, which I think are perfect for this winter. You can also choose to wear this look for your new years eve party, if you want to go for something a bit different this year. I have been seeing a lot of purple and blue eye-shadows on the cat walk  and I wanted to create my own look with these beautiful blue colors.

Eyes

Instructions:

  1. Always start with an eye-shadow primer, however this time I started from the crease and applied a dark metallic shadow and blended it in with a lighter blue eye-shadow on the mid lid. Finally I used a creme light  shimmer blue shadow on the inner lid and a white colour under the brows.
  2. Then finished of the look by highlighting my brows, applying a winged eyeliner and mascara.

Cheeks & Lips:

Instructions:

  1. As always I contour my face with a bronzer and the apply some blusher on my cheeks,  but being that I applied quite a dark smokey eyes I made sure to apply a highlighter on the cheeks and my T zone.
  2. Being that the eye look is a little bit heavy, I left the lips as natural as possible and applied a light soft pink colour.
